Vigo County, In. – One person is recovering today after sustaining serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident yesterday morning on the south side of Terre Haute. According to the Vigo County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred near the intersection of Woodsmall and McDaniel roads. Officials say the vehicle left the roadway and flipped multiple times into a nearby open field. First responders were forced to extricate the driver, who was the sole occupant. The injured driver was then transported via medical helicopter for treatment of serious injuries.
