Terre Haute, In. – Terre Haute police arrested 21-year-old Javon J. Moppins on Saturday following an early morning shooting that left one person wounded. Officers took Moppins into custody at a home near North 9th Street and Maple Avenue after a victim arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound. Moppins faces felony charges including robbery and aggravated battery, while the victim remains in stable condition at an Indianapolis hospital.
