Terre Haute, In. – The Duke Energy Foundation has awarded a $25,000 grant to Ivy Tech Terre Haute to launch its new PLC Academy, an advanced training program for industrial automation. The funding will support high-demand technical training in systems integration, industrial networking, and diagnostics for students and local workers. This specialized program builds upon existing curriculum to meet the evolving workforce needs of regional manufacturers. School officials say the investment will help equip graduates with the skills required for careers in automated manufacturing and process optimization.
