Terre Haute to Lost 300 Factory Jobs

Terre Haute, In. – On FridayThyssenkrupp Presta North America announced they will permanently close its Terre Haute automotive plant by March 31, 2027, impacting roughly 300 manufacturing jobs. The German industrial company plans to consolidate its North American steering operations into its Hamilton, Ohio facility to cut corporate costs. Local officials are already coordinating with workforce development teams to help displaced workers transition to other regional manufacturers.
