One Injured And Family Of Five Displaces In Sunday Afternoon Fire

Terre Haute, In. – An accidental house fire on Foulkes Drive in Terre Haute on Sunday afternoon injured a woman and displaced four children. Firefighters responded to the scene around 12:30 p.m. following reports of heavy smoke. Crews quickly brought the fire under control within 10 minutes. Medics transported the injured woman to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The property damage forced the woman and four children from the home. The American Red Cross is now providing emergency assistance to the displaced family. Officials officially ruled the cause of the blaze as accidental.
