Vigo County, In. – A Texas truck driver is in the Vigo County Jail following a high-speed stop on I-70 Friday. Indiana State Police arrested 33-year-old Alex Brown of Killeen, Texas after a trooper clocked his semi at 80 miles per hour near Terre Haute. A K-9 search of the cab reportedly uncovered a loaded handgun, marijuana, and synthetic urine. Brown, who allegedly showed signs of impairment and refused chemical testing, faces multiple charges including being a violent felon in possession of a firearm and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
