Beating Victim Seeks Aid At Police Headquarters

Terre Haute, In. – Around 6am Thursday morning a victim of a beating came in to the Terre Haute Police Headquarters suffering from serious injuries and in need of medical treatment. Officer began medical treatment and began an investigation. The man told officers that he had gone to pickup some money owed to him by his ex-girlfriend when he was attacked, beaten and robbed after he lost consciousness. The victim identified his attacker as Christopher Craft. The officers were able to quickly obtain search and arrest warrants. They located Craft and recovered the victims stolen property. Craft was arrested and charged with Robbery, Aggravated Battery and Strangulation. The investigation is continuing.
