Terre Haute, In. – Terre Haute Mayor Brandon Sakbun said the city is putting together a task force to address the homeless community in the city. The mayor says the task force will unite various organizations that provide services to the homeless and focus on identifying actions needed to regaining stability. The mayor says there’s been some improvement in the downtown area and there’s bees some success with shelters. He says that over the next 10 years the city can take steps to create transitional housing. He hope to see a warming center task force established in the next 3 weeks.
