Vigo County, In. – Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales has requested an investigation into a case of suspected noncitizen voting in Vigo County. The suspect is suspected of voting in multiple elections back to 2018. The person was identified through the States verification process through the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. The individual, which hasn’t been identified, responded to proof of citizenship with a Mexican Passport. The Vigo County Voter Registration Office referred the case to the Vigo County Prosecutor’s Office which brought in the Indiana State Police to investigate. The US Department of Justice has handed it over to the FBI.
