
Rosedale/Terre Haute — A 44-year-old man is in custody today after a destructive spree that stretched from Parke County into Terre Haute. Authorities say Paul Wilson was arrested early Tuesday morning after allegedly slamming his vehicle into a trailer in Rosedale while a victim—reportedly a cancer patient—was sleeping inside. The chaos didn’t stop there. Following the initial crash, Wilson was spotted near Club Soda in Terre Haute, where witnesses say he struck a parked car and was seen driving into an open field to perform “donuts”. Vigo County deputies eventually tracked Wilson down and conducted a traffic stop near the Club Soda area. He now faces a laundry list of charges, including: Leaving the scene of an accident with moderate or serious bodily injury, Criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, Operating a vehicle while intoxicated and as a habitual traffic violator, Possession of marijuana. Wilson is currently being held on a $20,000 bond with no 10 percent cash allowed.
