Terre Haute, In. – Around 5am yesterday morning a Vigo County Sheriff Deputy observed a pickup truck that was smoking and speeding southbound on 3rd Street. As the Deputy followed the truck sped up and turned into the Show Me’s restaurant parking lot and drove directly into the Show Me’s building. Officers said the driver appeared to be suicidal. The driver of the truck was injured and taken to the hospital where he was placed under hospital detention. Charges may be pending as the investigation continues.
