TERRE HAUTE, Indiana (DLC Media) – An accident in Terre Haute led to an arrest after a vehicle fled the scene of the crash. The accident occurred on Wednesday when two vehicles collided at the intersection of US 41 and Charlotte Lane.

The vehicle that fled the scene had significant tire damage and was eventually caught. 52-year-old Ramiro Canpechano, who was driving the vehicle, was arrested. He now faces charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated with endangerment, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, and operating a vehicle while never obtaining a license.
