New Committee to Allocate ARPA Funding

VIGO COUNTY, Indiana (DLC Media) – The Vigo County council and commissioners have decided to create a joint committee that will oversee the allocation of the remaining money from the American Rescue Plan Act. This funding totals around 3.5 million dollars. The plan was presented during Tuesday’s County Council meeting while discussing a request from the United Way of the Wabash Valley.

The committee will consist of one county commissioner as well as three county council members. The committee is only in charge of the remaining ARPA money.
