NEW YORK — Where you sit may influence your ticket price the next time you go to see a movie.

This week AMC Theaters announced seats in the middle of the theater will cost a dollar or two more and seats in the front row will be a little cheaper.

The new plan has already been introduced in some AMC theaters and is expected to be at all AMC Theaters after 4 p.m.

Seats labeled “standard Sightline” will be the regular price for that show.
