Terre Haute Woman Busted for Meth During Traffic Stop

A traffic stop near Carlisle ended in the arrest of a Terre Haute woman on drug charges.Police pulled over 56-year Lena Ashburn after she allegedly failed to stop for a stop sign at SR 58 and Alexander St. A search of her car found more than 60 grams of methamphetamine spread across multiple bags in her vehicle.

She was also charged after she failed a certified chemical test. Police had given that test after she showed signs of impairment while being stopped.

At last check, she was in the Sullivan County Jail and charged with a long list of drug crimes.
