Terre Haute, In. – From a THPD release.  At approximately 5:00 P.M., Officers responded to the area of 35th Street and Wabash Ave in reference to a car versus pedestrian accident. The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital for serious injuries. The driver, Donald Whitaker, was arrested for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury. The investigation is ongoing.
