TSA Mask Requirement For Travelers Extended

INDIANAPOLIS — The federal mask mandate has been extended to January. That means for your next trip, make sure you have your mask before you leave.

The Indianapolis Airport released a statement reminding everyone that there are consequences for those who violate the federal mandate. First offenders face up to a 1,000-dollar fine, second offenders could face up to 3,000.

That doesn’t even factor in fines from the FAA. Whether it’s plane, train, or bus, the TSA usually offers a free mask, just in case.

The order and a list of exemptions are listed below.
