Four Hurt In Early Morning Parke County Crash

PARKE COUNTY, Ind – Early this morning (8/9/19) just before 2:00 a.m. Parke County Deputies were called to a crash on U.S. 36, near C.R. 880 E.

Officers say that 23-year-old Randal L. Wines of Sandborn, was traveling east on U.S. 36, when his truck ran off the right side of the roadway and continued in the ditch for several hundred feet, before coming back onto the roadway, across the center line and off the left side of the roadway. The truck traveled back onto the roadway and rolled several times before coming to a rest in the westbound lane.

Wines suffered some abrasions and was taken to Hendricks County Hospital.

The front passenger, 31-year-old Alexander Sipe of Brownsburg was ejected from the vehicle and sustained back and head injuries and was flown to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Two rear seat passengers 52 year old Ernest Bixler of Bowling Green and 30 year old Benjamin Tate  also suffered what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are continuing their investigation.
