Plea Deal For Terre Haute Man Facing Several Charges

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.  – A judge has accepted a plea agreement for a Terre Haute man who is facing charges that include rape, criminal confinement, domestic battery, strangulation, criminal recklessness, and check fraud.

46-year-old Joshua Johnson pleaded guilty to criminal confinement and check fraud and the rest of the charges have been dropped.

Johnson will also get credit for the two years he has served for the check fraud case.

He will have to serve a year and a half on the criminal confinement charge and then three and a half years on formal probation.
