Two Arrested In Sullivan Homicide Investigation

SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind – A joint investigation between the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office, Indiana State Police, Sullivan County Prosecutor ‘s Office and Sullivan County Coroner’s Office, has resulted in an Indianapolis couple being arrested for Murder.

Sullivan County Sheriff Clark Cottom said that on Tuesday, (5/28/19) a body was found after police served a search warrant at a residence in Eastern Sullivan County.

An autopsy conducted Wednesday morning confirmed the victim had been murdered.

Cottom said investigators reviewed the case late Wednesday afternoon with Sullivan County Prosecutor Ann Mischler.

Following that meeting, police charged 40-year-old Danny A. Wilson Jr. of Indianapolis with Murder.

Wilson’s longtime female companion, 40-year-old Renee S. Huffines also of Indianapolis, was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Murder and Aiding, inducing, or causing a Murder.

Both Wilson and Huffines are being held in the Sullivan County Jail with no bond.

The name of the victim is being withheld, as police await pending positive identification.

This case remains under investigation.
