Ivy Tech Ready To Start Summer Classes, Still Time For You To Enroll

PARKE COUNTY, IN – There is still time to enroll at Ivy Tech Community College summer classes that begin June 10. Some courses are offered in Rockville at the Parke County Learning Center, located at 519 N. Lincoln Road. Students can stop in for help enrolling during office hours Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

General education classes offered in Parke County are English Composition, Public Speaking, Earth Science, Quantitative Reasoning, Introduction To Psychology, Integrated Reading & Writing, and a seminar class for first-year students. These courses are pre-requisites or degree requirements for Ivy Tech associate degrees.

Most classes offered in Parke County also transfer to all public four-year colleges in Indiana, as part of Indiana’s Statewide Transfer General Education Core.

Many courses are also available online.
