VIGO COUNTY, Ind -Police are investigating an overnight crash that happened a little after 1:00 a.m. this morning Springhill drive just west of first street on Terre Haute’s south side.

A car hit a utility pole.

The driver was not hurt.

Just a short time later police and rescue crews were called to 111250 North Atherton St. which is just south Lyford in northern Vigo county.

A utility pole fell on top of a pickup truck taking out several power and other service lines.

No one was inside the truck.

Authorities are still trying to figure out what happened.
