TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Vigo County Clerk Leanna Moore has announced her retirement on September 15th.
The news was shared during Thursday morning’s Vigo County Election Board meeting.
Moore had a little more than two years left in her term.
She said the decision to retire is due to a desire to spend more time at home.
Moore has been clerk for the past ten years.
Elizabeth Stiverson the current Chief Deputy Clerk will fill the role until a caucus is held to name a replacement.
