Terre Haute, In. – Sheriff’s deputies in Vigo County are investigating a crash that sent a motorcyclist to the hospital following a police pursuit. Authorities report the driver refused to stop during an attempted traffic stop early Sunday morning, leading officers on a high-speed chase hitting nearly 100 mph before losing control and crashing on Terre Haute roadways. The motorcycle driver was identified as 47-year-old Justin Hunt of Terre Haute. First responders transported Hunt to the hospital for treatment. Charges against Hunt are currently pending through the county prosecutor’s office.
