The Rose Rocketry team from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology just secured an impressive tenth-place finish in NASA’s prestigious University Student Launch Initiative. The intense nine-month national challenge required college teams to design, build, and fly a high-powered rocket carrying a complex scientific payload. The Rose-Hulman squad successfully launched, landed, and recovered their custom rocket at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, proving they can compete with the absolute best engineering minds in the nation. A stellar performance by our local students, paving the way for the future of aerospace exploration.
