Terre Haute, In. – A Terre Haute man is behind bars, accused of shooting someone during an altercation last month. City police arrested forty-year-old Douglas Lee Wednesday following a search into the June 23rd shooting on North Fifteenth Street. Investigators state that a dispute escalated into gunfire, causing injuries that required the victim to be airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital. Lee now faces multiple felony charges, including aggravated battery and unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon. He is currently being held at the Vigo County Jail.
