Terre Haute, In. – In a surprise announcement at Monday night’s School Board Meeting Vigo Country School Corporation Superintendent Dr. Rob Haworth announced that he’s stepping down at the end of the year.  Haworth said there’s no particular reason for the timing of the announcement. He says it is time for a new chapter.  After the announcement the board voted to appoint Dr. Tom Balitewicz as interim superintendent. He is the current director of student services.

The board will now begin a search for a new superintendent.
