Road and Bridge Funding On The Way

West Central, In. – Communities in Vigo and Clay Counties will receive nearly $1.8 million to improve roads and bridges through the Community Crossings Matching Grant Program. CCMG, funding matches up to $1 million annually when localities invest in road and bridge repairs. CCMG works to advance community infrastructure projects, strengthen local transportation networks and improve Indiana’s roads and bridges. Vigo County received $217,562, Brazil received a little just over $189,400 and Clay County received $1 million. Since its enactment, the program has awarded more than $1 billion in state matching funds for local construction projects.
