Terre Haute, In. – The Vigo County Public Library will be opening a third branch to the 12 Points area sometime this year. Located on North 13th Street, the library will move into the building formally known as the old Thomas Funeral Home. Estimated cost for the project is over one million dollars and will be funded by the library’s traditional tax supported budget. No additional referendum or bonds will be needed because the library has been preparing for the project for over a year. The purchase on the building is still pending and officials hope to close on the property by the end of April.
