<![CDATA[INDIANA – The Indiana Department of Workforce Development has released the county by county unemployment number. Again, counties in the Wabash Valley have some of the highest unemployment rates with Vermillion County leading the list at 6.8%
Other local counties also ranked high in unemployment
#4 was Greene County at 5.6%
#5 Sullivan also at 5.6%
#9 Vigo at 5.4%
#16 Parke at 4.7%
#26 Clay at 4.4%
#40 Putnam at 4.3%
Gibson County had the lowest unemployment in the state at 3%
The overall unemployment rate for Indiana stands at 4.1%
